Forums for Gorleston, Kirkley & Pakefield area.
Do clubs in the Eastern Counties have their own forums? i know the clubs who have joined the Ryman League do, like AFC Sudbury, Needham Market etc do, but. I googled Gorleston FC forum but nothing appeared.
Having just moved to Gorleston, i still plan to travel Saturday and selected (better) midweek games to Witham Town FC
However midweeks when the club are playing the likes of Ilford, Waltham Forest etc, then i will be popping into some local games and wondered whether there were some forum links to the likes of :
Gorleston,
Kirkley & Pakefield &
Gt Yarmouth forums.
Any ground within half hour drive, just learning the area.
Thanks if you know.
Mark.

Gorleston's site is on Pitchero, http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/gorlestonfc/
Kirkleys is http://fansforum.kpfc.co.uk/default.asp
the Yarcos is http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/greatyarmouthtownsupporters/
also nearby are http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/norwichunitedfc/
http://www.lowestofttownfc.co.uk/
http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/wroxhamfc/
and a good Anglian Combination to watch is Acle United which i don't have a link to but somebody might have?

Thank you for that very helpful, never knew Acle had a team, but to be fair only just heard of it since i have lived here.
Acle straight accident hotspot. Is the Anglian combination the one that Cromer, Sherringham dominate?
This might sound a silly question but why are Gt Yarmouth called Yarcos, is that banter between fans? I couldn't get their site to open.
Your help is much appreciated. See if i can find a game for next midweek.

Small world, i plan to still see Witham but as i love the Eastern Counties league, want to watch some of the clubs in the area. Visited Gorleston FC to have a look around when i first got here, spoke to the groundsman i think, but never seen a game there, so that will be good to do.
Only been to Kirkley & Pakefield once for a pre season friendly a few years ago (v Witham) so must return midweek.
I have only seen Gt Yarmouth once, but many moons ago, so another one to add. (Hopefully in the FA Cup too on the 25th Aug)
Wroxham & Norwich Utd again only been to once, but Witham at Wroxham on the 21st August, but looking forward to going back to Norwich Utd.
Looking forward to midweeks.
Do Acle have floodlights or are they 6.30pm kick offs? Love to get to a new ground.

No, Acle do not have floodlights yet and yes their games do kick-off at 6.30pm.They play in the Anglian Combination Premier Division. Their first game of the season is at home v North Walsham Town on Friday 17 Aug. Several clubs in this division do have floodlights and is a feeder league to the Thurlow Nunn (formerly Ridgeons) League.

Cromer have won it the last couple of years, but Sheringham have only managed to muster a bottom half finish in the last three seasons. I would say Cromer, Blofield and Acle were the most consistent performers.

Back four, you mentioned you lived in Witham. Did you use to post as "Uncle Tom" on the Witham forum, he moved away but cant remember where, used to post on a regular basis about 4 - 5 seasons ago.

The site is open again so please come and have a look, there's obviously not a lot on there after the site had to be cleaned up due to idiots abusing it..anyone is welcome to post on the forum but please keep it sensible..thank you.

Gt Yarmouth Town away in the FA Cup.
After 600 miles for the 3 games done to date, nice to have one that is 3 miles from my door step.
Looking forward to Gt Yarrmouth Town away in the FA Cup, congrats on winning your game on Tuesday v Barkingside.
P.S FAO Gt Yarmouth, if it goes to a replay, do you do a players, supporters coach. If so any chance i could pay for a lift on it, for the P.A man of the opposiition. Save me driving and a round trip of 168 miles.
Thank you.
P.S thanks for the link above.
