CRC (9th) V Dereham Town (1st)
The home side have yet to win at the R. Costing Abbey Stadium having picked up just one point from the four matches played there, this will be a tough match to find a change of fortunes against a side that will enjoy the flat green surface. With just one defeat and seven wins from their opening eight games, Dereham have the points on the board and can open a gap between themselves and nearest rivals Wroxham, the Magpies are playing good football and scoring goals without conceding to many, having already kept three clean sheets.

FC Clacton (17th) V Newmarket Town (19th)
It would be ridiculous to say this is a must win game for both clubs but the likelihood is that both managers will feel that way; neither have made a great start to the season. The Essex Seasiders have played three of their four games away from The Rush Green Bowl but lost their one game there heavily, although they are unlikely to meet the calibre of Wisbech every week. Newmarket have yet to pick up a win having lost five of their opening seven fixtures and have yet to pick up a point on the road.

Felixstowe & Walton United (15th) V Diss Town (12th)
The Tangerines won’t be too disappointed with their start to the season but will have concerns about the lack of goals. They may view this game as an opportunity to score some against a side that has conceded 11 in their five league games. The Suffolk Seasiders have met the current top two already with no success and will be looking to improve their record against sides around them in the table, their goal tally is in double figures and they have failed to score just once to date.

Gt. Yarmouth Town (20th) V Brantham Athletic (6th)
Troubled times at The Wellesley, just one point from their opening seven fixtures and that away from home. They will need to be at their very best to hold the only side left with 100% record. They could well be boosted by the new management now installed following the departure of Paul Tong and they will have set out their aims and expectations. If Brantham continue on their current form then it could be an uncomfortable afternoon for the Bloaters. Played four, won four, scored 15, conceded 1, all away from home speaks for itself, Athletic look formidable opposition for anyone at the moment with eleven different players on the score-sheet.

Hadleigh United (14th) V Norwich United (10th)
The Brettsiders could be the enigma of the Premier Division this season with some unpredictable score lines, they have scored six in a game and conceded six in a game. After winning on the opening day they then went four without a win including the 0-6 home defeat by CRC. They have won just once since the opening day but a 6-1 win at Woodbridge shows they have the potential to upset anyone. The Planters are possibly just as enigmatic, they are the only side to lower Dereham’s colours but have lost three times albeit against stronger sides in the Division. Both will go into this game feeling victory is within their grasp.

Kirkley & Pakefield (16th) V Wivenhoe Town (18th)
An intriguing encounter here, Paul Tong has moved into the hot-seat at Walmer Road with The Royals having won just once so far and that against the current bottom club. They host a side that collected their first win and first points this season in midweek and who will be chomping at the bit to play this fixture. It was The Dragons first victory since Mid October last year some 32 games ago and they will be keen to show the win was not a one off lucky strike. A difficult game for Tong on his first match day in charge, but no doubt a challenge he will relish.

Stanway Rovers (7th) V Mildenhall Town (3rd)
This is a difficult game to call as both sides look in good form at present. Stanway have won their last three while The ‘Hall have lost just once and that back in the opening week of the season. Both are scoring freely while looking tight at the back since the home side’s heavy home defeat at The Hawthorns last month. This could be match of the day as they both like to get the ball on the floor and play through the middle to produce entertaining football.

Walsham Le Willows (21st) V Woodbridge Town (13th)
Are The Willows in relegation trouble this early in the season, they have lost all five games to date scoring at a goal a game but conceding at over three per game, they have a vastly experienced manager at the helm but they have half a dozen very difficult games in front of them and if they don’t collect anything from this match they could be in deep trouble very quickly. The Woodpeckers won their opening two fixtures but have lost and drawn two since then and were heavily beaten last time out, manager Mark Scopes has already aired his displeasure in the press and will be looking for a response from his side in a game they will feel they must win[justify
