First trip to Gorleston.
Saturday, I have an appointment in Town, so dont have time to get to Kent to follow Witham, so about 2.15-30 pop up to Gorleston as see they are at home.
I should really know this , do you guys have a clubhouse? Or should I get a drink elsewhere before the game. What is parking like at that time? or am I best to walk from a side road. How much is entry fee? Fiver (hoping) (remember a few years ago Thetford was £4 but they were division.1)
Looking forward to seeing if any atmosphere at a Gorleston match.
Thanks in advance.

Re: First trip to Gorleston.
Car park out front will be fine at that time, £6 to get in (ground not the car park) and a fully stocked bar.
Also, the wonderful Webby burgers available courtesy of greenmanwalking and I would expect plenty of atmosphere this week as its against ex-manager Richard Daniels and his Diss side that has a couple of our players in it.

Fantastic, thank you very much for the information.
Have to try one of your burgers then.
Looking forward to meeting up again with Jason Maher, not seen him since Chelmsford City. (now assistant at Diss)

Re: First trip to Gorleston.
You will be surprised at the quality of the ground and its facilities that they possess. Good enough for higher level of football IMO.

Gorleston Reserves have Witham Reserves away on Saturday...if you get down the ground early enough you could tag along, just make sure you bring your boots as you would probably start

Thanks Backfour, looking forward to it.
Greenmanwalking... Wouldnt be able to be ready in time. I could of scored some own goals for Gorleston Reserves, the Witham Reserve Manager (aka Swifty) would like that.

Re: First trip to Gorleston.
Ground was very good, impressed with the facilities - Burger was nice too, due to an injury / break in play got served just before half time. Clubhouse was smart, lots of informative stuff to read on the walls, £10 to watch a friendly v Norwich City stood out. Hopefully Gorleston got a good attendance.
Stayed till the fifth goal went in for Gorleston so stayed till about 4.35pm, being a neutral the game was dead for me at 3.1. Felt the score flattered the hosts and was very harsh on Diss, I stood behind the goal Diss were attacking first half and a fair % seemed to be down that end. 2nd half it was more down the Gorleston end. First time I have left a ground that early.
Nice to meet up again with Ashley Skeggs (Number 8 Diss) and Jason Maher (Assistant Manager)
Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season. Great facilites at Gorleston FC
