So basically SFA have bombed you from the next round because they don't know their ar$e from their elbow.....some ejut in admin has made a big mistake and the easy way out is to blame the club.
Also 10 clear working days over the holiday period surely even the Royal Mail can get a report delivered in that time.
Seems SFA have something in common with their neighbours as they like to see the Countys Premier teams in the finals, obviously they need the money through the turnstiles as they have to help pay for that St Georges Park.

Professor Stephen Hawkins would have had a bit of trouble working all that out. The problem is, Clubs cannot be seen to be possibly in the right and the ''suits'' be wrong and also you have got Ipswich Town in the background of the argument Shocked

Think "Backfour " is correct, after having read the report, in other words the Suffolk County F.A so called "officials " have not got the " balls " ( excuse the pun ) to admit they were wrong, surely the Referee who send in his report late should be disciplined for the " late return of a report ". One thing in life is certain Officials do not like getting wrong.

Perhaps supporters going to the final should vote with their feet and not attend, had Ipswich Town not been involved this matter would have been resolved another way

Pardon my ignorance, but what does "a partially independant FA inquiry" mean?

Ipswich Town are an innocent party in all this I believe. F&WUFC were thrown out of the competition a couple of weeks ago, this was the appeal result.

Does your heart good to know we are in safe hands!!

You must be a proper football man quoting Lancaster Gate, think they moved from there a while ago. Unfortunately the appeal on Friday was as they put it 'a full and final one'

Waking up this am the full fact is The Seasiders beat ITFC fair and square on the night, if they accept reinstatement and go on to win the Cup, it will be a hollow victory, even their supporters website backs the Seasiders!

I probably did not make my statement clear , by saying another way if Ipswich Town were not involved.

Think where the final is played ??? Seems to me the Suffolk County like to have an Ipswich Town team involved in the final, good pubic relations , thinking of good crowds etc. The County seemed very concerned a few season ago when Ipswich pulled out of the Cup competition, perhaps the County were and still are Ipswich may pull the plug on staging the Cup Finals at Portman Road, hence wanting to have Ipswich in the final ( if they progress !!! Very Happy )

From the statements I have read it does seem a tad strange that Felixstowe did not have to pay a fine, was this away of trying to appease the situation .
The different F.A Counties never like to be proved wrong as they are supposed to be faultless it only the Clubs that are at fault never them, one other thing to remember . Counties F.A 's now employ "full time paid staff " so money has to be generated to pay these people, but those people the serve on Club Committee's and in postions such as football sceretaries do this for no reward , but the " so called County Officials " do unfortunately forget this Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

As much as this hurts me to say but there is no proof that the Referee put his report in late,I do not generally side with officials but he may be totally innocent in all this.
With the postal service about as much good as a fart in the wind over the holiday period it could be them to blame!
Personally i think the 'report' was sent in a brown envelope by mistake and was taken home by a FA Suit thinking it was his Christmas bonus and it's only now come to light as it wasn't as thick as they normally are!!............then again it could be the ref, yeah lets blame him,who was it? tongue

Form what has been "Officially " reported, I think we can all come to the same conclusion all round, this has been "one big cock up " and our dear friends at the County F.A ( as i have stated before ) have not got the "balls " to admit they were wrong .

Surely in this day and age of computers , emails etc, etc, I would have thought by now that Referee's reports could be e-mailed to the County and likewise the County could e-mail paperwork to Club Secretaries , but " Postman Pat " still needs employment. Very Happy Very Happy

I feel sorry for Felixstowe & Walton Utd , but had a Club of the staure of Ipswich Town one would have thought they may have relented and let the result stand, but once again the Suffolk County F.A not admitting any liabillity just hide behind the "rule book " and not let common sence prevail

Post  welshwatcher Wed Feb 06, 2013 7:17 am

In fairness to ITFC they are an innocent party, all their supporters I have spoken to feel it is a gross injustice, they accept the Seasiders beat them fair and square and the result should stand. However they are re-instated, should they refuse to return I assume they would be fined by SFA for withdrawing (although they could probably afford it) and the other sem-finalist would have a bye into the final.

The Seasiders have put a closure on it and people are able to draw their own conclusions from what has been written.

Is it right, is it wrong! I couldn't possible comment.

The Fiasco continues, having expelled the Seasiders for breaking the rules despite mitigating circumstances because 'Rules are Rule' the Suffolk FA condone two of the semi-finalists breaking the rules so they can make more money!

You really couldn't make this up!

Same here mrbob, but there is a bit on the EADT and Green Un sites...reads like the not so clever Suffolk FA have boobed big time, one rule for one (or two in this case)and one for another.
Its a little bit similar to NCFC as they play their games as and when they want in the Norfolk Senior Cup... obviously Norfolk FA don't want to upset the owners of the venue where the final will be held.

Just seen on the Lowestoft website that due to complaints from Bury Town & Leiston the semi-final has been moved to a neutral venue, and that neutral venue is KIRKLEY ! A bit like playing it on the preactice pitch & Portman Road, its not that neutral is it. It also says that admission prices will be decided at a later date )probably when the man from the SFA turns up on the day ). A complete & utter b*lls up by the SFA. Lets hope someone takes the blame & goes !

I read in todays EADT that Hadleigh Reserves are being made to play their Suffolk Senior Cup Fixture this afternoon as they couldnt agree another date with Kirkley & Pakefield.
The Venue & fixture wasnt confirmed until Thursday of this week!!
Such a shame that many of the Reserves that had made plans to go & watch the clubs biggest game its its history are now having to miss out!!
