Cornard United
How long can they carry on without use of their ground?
Last 2 home games cancelled.
"Dispute with the Parish Council, who own the ground, and have locked up the clubhouse building which also houses the changing rooms. Chris Symes (still there as owner) is in an ongoing battle to get a new/renegotiated lease at Blackhouse Lane."

Re: Cornard United
I thought that Chris was owner of the facilities on the Ground. In all the press reports that have surrounded the club over recent years he has been reported as being the OWNER. If he doesn't, what is there to own?Greenmanwalking wrote:So does Symsey own the clubhouse building then ?

Re: Cornard United
I think Chris Symes had issues like this before , and on recollection I believe Cornard Parish Council own the land which Cornard's pitch is sited and the surround playing fields you walk across to access Cornard's ground. I believe the Football Club ( now owned by Chris ) own the Clubhouse, Stand & Floodlights.
Problem with this is they sit on the land owned by the Council , ( plenty of brick rubble if both parties fall out !!!!! ).
