Curious case of a Goalkeeper
As everyone knows I am a Hadleigh utd supporter and last season I believe we had the best non league keeper in the area young goalkeeper Dan Heath.
He's signed at two clubs this season for a fee both times and never played a game ! (Wroxham and AFC Sudbury) he went straight out on loan to step three St Neots town before suffering an injury and returning to Sudbury it seems !
Now it seems according to rumours and twitter , he has signed for. Stanway Rovers on loan ! I wonder if anybody has ever signed for two clubs in a season and never played for either ! I know Wroxham had to pay a fee to sign him from Hadleigh and then in turn Sudbury had to do the same any Sudbury fans know why he hasn't played ?

Re: Curious case of a Goalkeeper
HUFC have the following keepers on their books, so far this season:-
Floyd Croll
FRed Howe
Darren Moyes
Max Planck
Paul Rutherford
& the possibility of Darren Potter!!
And i wouldnt say that any of these keepers are in any way better then Dan Heath, but Dan had one poor game & all of a sudden Crawford was on the look for another keeper & started messing Dan about.
So much so that Dan had to speak to the Chairman of the club to get away!
You cant afford to have a bad day at the office with Crawford, because he never makes mistakes!

Re: Curious case of a Goalkeeper
Excuse my poor checking of the title !
Very strange situation last year where he went on loan to a club two steps higher and was then recalled for the closing stages of the vase and league ! For all information I have heard Leiston wanted to keep him.
However when he did return he clearly had improved and a string of excellent performances propelled him to the award of 'Suffolk Footballer of the year' from the Nick Garnham.
Just very strange how somebody can fluctuate from step 3 (Leiston and St neots) to step 5 (Hadleigh Stanway) however I'm guessing injuries have played a big part it seems!
All of the other GKs mentioned ^^ have floors! I like Rutherford however he is Vase cup tied so no good to Hadleigh !
