Suffolk FA Cock-up Again !
It seems Mr McCarthy has stopped the Suffolk FA from using Portman Road to host the Finals of four competitions. He thinks that they may have a play off match followed by a Barry Manilow so tough sh!t you can't have the pitch. So much for grassroots football, now eight teams have to play elsewhere & for them it will not be the same. I personally hope that Ipswich now lose all their remaining games & the Barry Manilow concert is cancelled because nobody want's to go (I have had a number of e-mails offering tickets for his O2 & Wembley concerts for £30).
Good old Suffolk FA two seasons on the trot they have shafted my team ! I have even offered to run the competition for them next season, I wonder if I will get an answer ?

Re: Suffolk FA Cock-up Again !
Dellwood, I have a certain amount of sympathy with ITFC over this. For obvious reasons they want to protect the Portman Road pitch, just in case they make the play offs, and I'm sure most people would understand this.
However, they are not GUARANTEED a play off place yet, so why not say that SHOULD they make the play offs then the pitch would be unavailable, but if they DON'T make them then the finals can go ahead as originally planned. That way everybody knows what's going on a month in advance and tentative arrangements can be made with the Clubs who have agreed to host the finals now.
I know it's still a kick in the teeth for all the players who have made the final, but at least if the above had been implemented there would still be some hope for all concerned.
