New Teams 2014/2015 Empty New Teams 2014/2015

With this season coming to a close I was wondering if anyone knows of teams seeking promotion into the ECL this year?

I know h&P and Kings Lynn reserves have applied but don't think there have been any applications from elsewhere ?

With Wroxham in the bottom 3 in the Ryman League assume they would come back into the prem if relegated ?

Heard Harwich & Parkeston were going to apply , I see Brightlingsea Regents ground has past the Rymans League inspection , and if they finish in third spot they can go up , so may be a straight swop with Wroxham
Still several matches to be played

An update on the above (Purely my thoughts and nothing official)

After last night's Ryman results, it would appear that Wroxham are almost certain to be relegated. Assuming they are, then I can see one of the following scenarios.

a) Wroxham relegated to ECL = 21 teams in Premier Division.
b) CRC disband = 20 teams in Prem.
c)Brightlingsea ARE promoted = 19 teams in Prem

Therefore TWO relegated from Prem = 17 in Prem
and THREE promoted from Div 1 = 20 in Prem

OR

a) Wroxham relegated to ECL =21 teams in Prem
b) CRC disband = 20 teams in Prem
c) Brightlingsea ARE NOT promoted = 20 teams

Therefore THREE relegated from Prem = 17 in Prem
and THREE promoted from Div 1 = 20 in Prem

Anybody got any other ideas??

This of course includes the proviso that all promotion candidates from Div 1 have the necessary ground grading.

Think you are pretty much spot on there SpongeBob. Brightlingsea took a huge step last night, although they left it late and they are now favourites to take the title, it's theirs to lose from this point. They have a tough, tough game Saturday and if they win that I think they will win the league, if they lose they could finish outside the top three!

Wroxham's relegation confirmed after Saturday's results. Assuming there are no relegation reprieves at step 4, they will return to the ECFL next season.

Just to make it interesting it seems that Harwich may not now be applying due to lack of funds but a sponsor could change it all. Also Saffron Walden & Halstead are not happy playing against the reserve sides in Div 1 & may be looking to move but as the Essex Senior League is on the same level as our Premier Division they may not be able to move unless the FA decide to tinker with the pyramid again !
I also hear that in the battle of the ressies on Easter Monday AFC Sudbury turned up at Needham Market with only 9 players !

Sad times indeed, theted. Is Tony Armstrong still involved in some way with the Club. Cannot believe that this has happened to a club that once reached the old FA Amateur Cup Final at Wembley!! Lets hope that they can recover from their problems.  Sad

Tony Armstrong is still there I believe but with only a few players by the sound of it though !
On another note I see that Braintree Res will be playing their home matches @ Long Melford, I just hope they told the fixture sec before the fixtures were announced today !
