So we play against a team a League lower than ourselves & leave our Leading Goal Scorer on the bench! Mad
We loose 2-0 & any income from Prize Money! Sad
Still now we are out of all Cup Competitions we can concentrate on the League! Smile
Any plus from yesterday is that we will now enter the VASE in the early stages next season & hopefully be able to earn ourselves some prize money early on!!! Very Happy
Maybe that is Crawfords plan? clown clown

Things aren't right at the moment.
Too many under performing players and ill discipline.
Changes at the weekend made no difference to the performance or the result !

Unfortunately it sounds like the Club were relying on another good Vase run this season! Mad
Heard yesterday at the match that one of the players that was going to be on the bench last week was asked not to come along as the Club couldn't afford to have him sitting on the bench & being paid!!
Also since the Vase exit Bramble has left the club & just last week Sloots has also departed.
Was Mr. Crawford also missing from the bench as well yesterday, or was he hiding in the Clubhouse? Very Happy
After watching yesterday's match it looks like its back to mid table for HUFC this season?

I did hear on Saturday that the budget had been cut & at least one of the "bigger" earners has been touted around to other clubs, I presume to reduce the wage bill further .

We must stop wasting money on under-performing 'journeymen'. Bramble, Crane, Logan, Sloots, Hammond etc..
The majority of supporters would be happy to see a team built around players like Nower, Donnelly, Rose, Stafford, Barwick, Jennings etc.. mixed with a few hungry, up-and-coming players not 'experienced' thirty-plus players on the slide.
