DEREHAM TOWN V HAVERHILL ROVERS
The home side are going to finish the season around the mid-table mark after a disappointing run of six defeats in their last nine games after looking likely challengers for one of the top spots in the first half of the season and they will want to end their home programme on a high note. Their visitors picked up their first win in eight in midweek although they had to rely on the opposition to score two of their three goals and will be looking to pick up something from this match to give their away record a more respectable look.

DISS TOWN V HADLEIGH UNITED
Diss could overhaul their visitors in the league but need to win this game and their last trip at Rush Green next week while hoping Hadleigh lose their last fixture. Wherever they finish they will feel they have achieved their aims for the season of establishing themselves back in the Premier Division. It has been an inconsistent season dogged by injury for Hadleigh but a top ten finish is still within their capability but they would realistically need to win this and their last fixture at Gorleston next week which will be no easy task.

GORLESTON FC V FC CLACTON
The Greens are a club who will be happy with their season’s work having also established their Premier Division status, they have lost just one of their last six so will go into the game with confidence against a side on a run of nine straight defeats. For the visitors they will be happy to get the season over having conceded over a third of their seasons total goals in those last six defeats. It is now a dozen games and four months since their last win on the road so anything gained from this game would be a boost going into their last fixture.

KIRKLEY & PAKEFIELD V BRANTHAM ATHLETIC
The Royals have hauled themselves away from the relegation battle with a run of form that has seen them take 13 points from the last 15 to put them into a comfortable place just below mid table and they will be looking forward to this game against a side still battling for runners up spot. This will be no dour end of season affair, Brantham could still end as runners up or even fourth so this game is a must win fixture for them, they have three games left and realistically have to win them all while hoping Ely drop points in their last two matches while also looking over their shoulder at Wisbech.

MILDENHALL TOWN V FELIXSTOWE & WALTON UNITED
The home side picked up their first win in four last Saturday but that was at basement club Yarmouth and they have been inconsistent over the course of the season which has cost them dearly as they looked at one stage they may be challenging near the top. The visitors will be glad to see the end of the season after a run of poor results that has left them just above the relegation spots. They have now gone seven games without a win and have lost their last three so this could be an interesting encounter as both sides try and improve their end of season record.

STANWAY ROVERS V WROXHAMIf you want to establish yourself as a top side then beating the Champions is a good a way as any to do that so this will be no gentle end of season match at The Hawthorns. Stanway could theoretically finish third and realistically fourth if Wisbech drop points so they have plenty to play for. That’s not the case with the visitors who will be crowned champions next week at home. They have pride to play for and they have plenty of that and will be looking to make it six straight wins and finish the season on an unbeaten run.

WISBECH TOWN V WALSHAM Le WILLOWS
Like Kirkley, Walsham have lifted themselves away from the danger area with a string of results that has brought five wins in their last eight games including a 5-1 mauling of Woodbridge at Notcutts Park on Wednesday. Wisbech are also finishing the season strongly and three points would put them almost safe in fourth but with Stanway still around and with a trip to Brantham next week they have to win this if they are to have any chance of catching them. They lost at home on Tuesday but that was against the champions and was their first defeat in six.

WIVENHOE TOWN V ELY CITY
The home side will finish third from bottom this season, escaping relegation if Wroxham are promoted which looks likely now they have completed all the required improvements to Trafford Park. Considering they lost 10 of the opening 11 fixtures The Dragons have improved steadily over the season but they may find this a game to far. Ely have to win this and their last game at home to Norwich United to be absolutely certain of runners up spot should Brantham win their last three so there will be no complacency from them. This could be Match of the Day.

WOODBRIDGE V NORWICH UNITED
Norwich need one point from this game to ensure they finish above their hosts but all the sides from 6th to 10th will be juggling for positions in their last two games. The Woodpeckers suffered a shock home defeat in mid-week, losing 5-1 to Walsham so will want to make amends for that result. Their visitors have a difficult last game at home to Brantham so will want something from this match. The Planters have been consistent in their inconsistency, never winning more than three on the trot never suffering more than two consecutive defeats and are now unbeaten in five.

Excellent work as usual WW. However, I should point out that FC Clacton's current record is NINE straight defeats, not 7. Furthermore, I can't see that record getting any better at Gorleston tomorrow!! Mad

How do you say it,two good goal scoring sides or two shocking defending teams. To be fair both teams played youngsters in from the start and it was a very good game to watch, pity there was a losing side as i thought Clacton well deserved a point.
And the ref was pants, penalty yes,red card never.

Will the player miss your Carrow Road final or is the club going to appeal it?

Whilst I don't like to see players sent off, once the ref decided that it was a) a foul (in my opinion it was as clear cut as you could wish to see) and b) a penalty (nailed on), he had absolutely no option but to send the lad off for denying a goalscoring opportunity.
My understanding is that he WILL miss the Norfolk Senior Cup final through suspension. Gorleston cannot appeal against his sending off unless they have video evidence (Didn't see any video camera) or can prove beyond any shadow of doubt that the referee sent off the wrong player (impossible to do as the ref was no more that 10 yards away from the incident).
If it wasn't for the fact that he will miss a Cup final, I'm sure Gorleston would just accept the inevitable punishment.

The way yesterdays game panned out you could say any foul anywhere denied a goalscoring opportunity! Ref should've sent everybody off!!

Adam admitted he got his leg tangled up with the player, and as it was in the box penalty.....never a sending off as any foul on the pitch could be deemed as a goal scoring opportunity.
Oh and well done to the nobs at the FA for appointing the officials from Lincolnshire.....money well spent ,not.
