Division 1 Promotion chase

With such a small amount of games in Division 1 every game counts If you are pushing promotion. Only 2 go up. Early season who do you feel will be challenging for a top 5

I don't think your far short of the mark Grassroots. My choices would be:-
1. Thetford.Town
2. Whitton United
3. Halstead Town

looks like were close on this one ....what do I know....except that Prem is a big prize.

I agree with Backfour's selection, but its too early to say in what order these 3 will finish up in, could change a bit if these have got to play each other and are suffering with players injured or suspended !!

Results Saturday seem to go with predictions... Although Godmanchester seem to be scoring for fun 7 today and 6 in the vase last week against higher grade opposition. Anyone know about them.

For me I can't see past Thetford for top spot but think running up could be anyone from Whitton, Halstead, CUP, Brightlingsea and Godmanchester... At the other end thats a lot easier Stowmarket Ipswich Wanderers Cornard United in any order but bottom 3
