Ineligible players!

I see Braintree Res punishment for playing ineligible in two games they won is to replay those games. Surely surely surely the points should be awarded to the opposition they played??

Braintree probably got a fine from the Ridgeons League and if away matches they will have to pay the match expenses so i am lead to believe ( stand to be corrected if wrong !!! ), but strongly agree the opposition should be awarded the points as they have done nothing wrong, perhaps if this were to happen Clubs would be more carefully in who was signed on and eligble to play

That sounds about right for the Ridgeons league, finances brfore common sense, the league needs some young new blood rather than the FA's yes men who are there for the ride

Thats normal punishment isn't it, in the league?
I thought the team 'wronged' against got the option of playing again to try and win the three points fairly, or forgetting it.
