The New League Sponsors are......

The new sponsors are Thurlow Nunn they have no branches in Essex or Suffolk so we can say who.............

They(Vauxhall dealers) say there are 10 sites across the Region including Great Yarmouth, Kings Lynn, Norwich. Holt and Wisbech. So it's the Thurlow Nunn League!

And the last ever Ridgeons game (1st Team) will be:

Dellwood, what about our friends in Cambridgeshire, seems strange the League has gone for sponsors in North suffolk & Norfolk, anything to do with the restructuring of the League ( for one minute I doubt it, But were they the only people who wanted to sponsor )

Does it matter where the league sponsor is based as long as they commit financially for whatever term.

Here we have a Company, who through their generosity, are willing to sponsor our league for an initial 3 year period and because it appears that they don't have an outlet/business in Timbuctoo, the decision is being questioned. Why??

Wisbech has neither a branch of Jewson or Ridgeons, but we do have a Thurlow Nunn! In fact they already sponsor our seated stand... Woo!

What happened to the Jewsons beside the river spenny,i used to deliver and collect timber from there for treatment at Yarmouth branch many moons ago.

It shut down years ago. Like, last century! Not entirely sure when though...

so, they only have branches in 2 towns with ECL clubs - Gt Yarmouth and Wisbech. I just think we need to be grateful that they are willing to be the sponsors in these hard times. Good on 'em!

Living where I do, in the wilds of Essex, I have to admit I've never heard of Thurlow Nunn. However, having attended the League Cup Final at Diss yesterday I noticed a branch near to Morrisons, on the main road into Diss. Can't imagine how many times I've driven past it over the years and not noticed it.........but hey, any sponsorship is welcome, and one as long as this and for as much as this is to be embraced with open arms.

Oops, I don't get out and about as much as I did!

There is even a TNS in Ely (which is part of the same group) dealing in tractors and stuff.
I think we all agree any sponsor in these harsh economical times is a good thing and i for one would like to thank Thurlow Nunn for there support.

I am sure that we don't care who pays out next season for the fair play league, unless of course we get Mr Magoo again !
